Squarecrows is open during the day in August on the following dates:

Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2025

Gates open at 11.00am and close around 6.00pm (Sat) &

12.00am and close around 5.00pm (Sun)

£2.95 per ticket for day events, Under 2 years of age is free entry.

No, the ticket price includes entry to the field and activities, pumpkins / sunflowers etc. are priced separately.

Yes, there's free parking at the Green Dragon Car Park. Please park considerately to ensure space for everyone.

Pumpkins range in price depending on size.

Sunflowers are priced per stem

As this is a working farm, we recommend checking the weather forecast before you come. We suggest sturdy shoes/walking boots/old trainers if it’s dry and wellies if it’s been rainy. This is an outdoor site so dressing for the weather (and mud) is essential.

Your ticket will have a timed entry slot and once you are here, for as long as you like. There is no time limit. Up until we close at 17:00 of course.

Yes the Green Dragon has a fabulous range of food and drinks. Please book a table with the pub directly to avoid dissapointment.

Yes, there are toilet facilities in the pub next to the field.

You may wish to bring your own bags to carry your pumpkins back to the car.

Wheelchair users are very welcome, however it is an open field so it can get a little muddy and the terrain can be challenging. Please feel free to ask a member of staff for help.

Sadly, no dogs are allowed on site unless they are a guide dog.

We are really sorry but we are unable to offer refunds if you are no longer able to visit. We do our very best to offer exchanges if we are able.

We are open in all weathers unless we’ve been instructed by our insurers to close because it would be a danger to the public to remain open (namely high winds rather than excessive rain). In this instance we will provide full refunds.

THe cob needs to dry fully for 2-3 weeks. Then you can pop it in the microwave. See our popcorn page for more details.

Please bring secateurs with you to cut your favourite stems to take home.
